Conning Wins Risk Management Firm of the Year Award

Conning, a leading global provider of risk and capital management software and advisory solutions to the insurance and pension industries, won the Risk Management Firm of the Year Award at the inaugural 2017 Insurance Asset Management Europe Awards ceremony and gala dinner in Mayfair, London. The Insurance Asset Management Europe Awards celebrate excellence in the UK and European insurance space.

Conning has been recognised for its sophisticated proprietary financial modelling software and strategic advisory services that have helped insurance companies achieve their financial goals. In particular, Conning’s application of risk management software in the delivery of ALM and strategic asset allocation analyses on behalf of its clients greatly impressed the judges. The judges also acknowledged the work performed by Conning for FBD Insurance, the largest independent general insurer in the Irish domestic market, which allowed the company to assess alternative investment strategies on a risk/return basis, taking into account the impact of Solvency II capital requirements.
